  Decided to try this great little spot for dinner after having a few lunch meetings there over the last year. My wife and I came in on a very busy Friday night and wandered into the neat little bar in the back; sat right next to the open gas fireplace and enjoyed a few drinks at our own pace. Even though she had given us the menus when we walked in, the attentive server politely checked with us every once in a while we sat and talked. Eventually, we ordered our meals from the extensive menu and the food came pretty quickly. The salad bar has lots of choices and the dinners were outstanding and appropriately sized. My wife had steak and butterfly shrimp and I had a 12 ounce prime rib with fresh horseradish. The food was of outstanding quality and presented very well. We ate at a leisurely pace and our server checked with us a few times; often with a quick glance so as not to disturb us. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay for a few more drinks and just "hang out" and enjoy our evening in this comfortable and quaint little place. Not a bad evening together. Charlie's has become our new little "let's go get dinner somewhere" place.

  My Daughter, Kimberly Evans rented your brick room for my 75th Birthday. I just want you to know that we got very good service and all of our guest was very pleased with the food and Charlies. Thank you for helping my Daughter and we had a good time and felt at home. I will be in again soon
